• The water has been polluted by the emissions of the large scale industries and vehicle and it is very necessary to stop or control the water pollution of these rivers.

Ganga River

The Ganga which is also called as Ganges is an Asian river which flows through two countries - India and Bangladesh.The length of this river is about 2,525 km. This river is known to be originated from the west Himalayas of the state Uttarakhand.

The Hindus considers this river as the most sacred river.

Yamuna River

This river also has other names - Jumna and Jamna.

This river is the most longest Indian tributary.

This river is also considered as one of the most sacred rivers.
