Step-by-step explanation:

le the terms be a-3d,a-d,a+3d

Step-by-step explanation:

Let four consecutive terms be (a-3d) , (a-d) , (a+d) and (a+3d)

Given ,

a-3d + a - d + a+ d + a+3d = 20

4a = 20

a = 5

Now , put value of A

 \mathtt \longrightarrow \: (5-3d)² + (5-d)² + (5+d)² + (5+3d)² = 120

 \mathtt \longrightarrow25 + 9d² - 30d + 25 + d² - 10d + 30d = 120

 \mathtt \longrightarrow30d = 120

 \mathtt \longrightarrow \: 100 + 20d² = 120

 \mathtt \longrightarrow20d² = 20

 \mathtt \longrightarrow</strong></p><p><strong>[tex] \mathtt \longrightarrow</strong><strong> </strong><strong>d² = 1

  \large{ \boxed{ \mathtt { \red {\longrightarrow \: d =   + 1 \: or \:  - 1}}}}

Thus , four consecutive terms are

2 , 4 , 6 , 8
