4. Let the width of the rectangle(b) be x m.

Then, the length of the rectangle(l) = 3x m.

A/q,

→ Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l + b) = 1960 cm

⇒2(x + 3x) = 1960

⇒4x = 1960/2

⇒4x = 980

⇒x = 980/4

⇒x = 245 cm

Width of the rectangle = x = 245 cm

Length of the rectangle = 3x = 3 × 245 = 735 cm

◘ Area of the rectangle = (l × b) = 245 × 735 = 172725 cm²

5. Circumference of the circle = Length of the wire = 60 cm

We know,

→ Circumference = 2πr = 60 cm

⇒2 × 3 × r = 60

⇒6r = 60

⇒r = 60/6

⇒r = 10 cm

Now,

Area of a circle(A) = πr²

⇒A = 3 × (10)²

⇒A = 3 × 100

⇒A = 300 cm²
