3. Is reproduction important to the survival of an individual? Why would you say that living things reproduce if some individual living things may not reproduce?

reproduction is not important for survival but it is necessary for the ongoing or growth of species to live longer and sustain their generation if they will not reproduce then there species might get extinct..

No , mate reproduction is not at all necessary for an organism to stay alive but , their population or next Generation will not exist .
Thus it is not necessary for an organism to reproduce
