Answer:

(3) 64.4 cm

(4) 48.8, 10 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

(3)

Given that it has rained 276 mm in the last 3 days.

So,Rain in 3 days = 276 mm.

∴ Rain in 1-day = 276/3

                       = 92.

Amount of rain in 1 week(7 days) = 92 * 7

                                                      = 644 mm

                                                      = 64.4/10 cm

                                                      = 64.4 cm

Therefore, 64.4 cm of rain will fall in one week.

(4)

Cost of 5 kg of wheat = 30.50

Cost of 1 kg of wheat = 30.50/5

                                   = 6.1

(a) Cost of 8 kg of wheat:

= 6.1 * 8

= 48.8

(b) Quantity of wheat:

= 61 ÷ 6.10

= 10 kg.

Hope it helps!

<b> hey mate

here's your answer,

question no. 3

》 rained in 3 days = 276mm

so according to the question, you have to find the rained of the whole week if rained at same rate , so first of all let find the amount of rained in one day ,

》 in 1 day = \huge\frac{276}{3} = 92 mm

in one week or in 7 days = 92 mm × 7 = 644mm

<HR>

question no. 4 (a)

as given that the cost of 5kg wheat = Rs.30.50

so to find the cost of 8kg , let find the cost of 1 kg wheat,

》 1kg wheat = Rs. \huge\frac{30.50}{5}
= Rs. 6.1 per kg
so the price of 8kg wheat = Rs. 6.1 × 8 = Rs.48.8

<HR>

question no. 4 (b) :

\huge\frac{61}{6.1} = 10

\thereforewe can purchase 1 kg wheat in Rs = Rs.6.1

then ,

we can purchase 10 kg of wheat in Rs. 6.1 on the price of Rs.6.1 per kg .

hope it helps you mate ✔✔
