The proportion = 15:20::30:x
=> Product of mean = Product of extreme [where mean = 15 & x and extreme = 20 & 30]
=> 15 × x = 20 × 30
=> 15x = 600
=> x = 600/15
=> x = 120/3
=> x = 40
Thus,
The fourth term = 40
