Bravoooo grt brainy question...for more ans follow me..
It all depends on magnetic power....
Maglev is short for Magnetic Levitation in which trains float on a guideway using the principle of magnetic repulsion. Each magnet has two poles. Now if you play with two magnets, you'll realize that opposite poles attract, whereas similar poles repel. This repulsive property of magnets is used in Maglev trains. That's why they are very excited and fast journey

maglev trains mainly work on the principal of megnatic levitation...as we know oppsides attract each other while same side repel ..these trains uses this principle to lift the train using the controlled electromegnets...as the train seems to be look as it is hanging in the air...this reduces the friction which is caused by the railways track .....also ,as they use magnets to move it also makes it more powerful and enables it to move more faster....all these things together are mainly responsible for its working...
