The zeroes of the Polynomial are,

α + β = -b/a ----(i),  αβ = c/a----(ii)

1/α + 1/β = β + α/αβ ----(iii)

Substituting the values in (iii),

1/α + 1/β = -b/a / c/a

1/α + 1/β = -b/a * a/c

1/α + 1/β = -b/c.

The value of 1/α + 1/β = -b/c.
