Volume = c/s area × length
= (π/8)×8^2 × 16 = 112π cm3

As the unit comes to an end, the students should be able to label all the parts of a cell, turn in an accurate model of a cell, and have a clear understanding of all of the functions of a cell. Students should understand the information clearly enough to correctly answer test questions in which the knowledge is manipulated. Our next unit will be about plants. We will talk about plant cells and look at plants under a microscope, to view the differences between the types of cells.
