Power rating of iron (P) = 840W

Voltage (V) = 220V

Let current = I
resistance = R
__________________

We know that P = VI

=> 840 = 220 × I

=> I = 840/220

=> I = 4A

So current is 4 ampere.
_____________________

V = IR

=> 220 = 4 × R

=> R = 220/4

=> R = 55 ohm

Resistance is 55 ohm
