the sides of a square bcda are extended to form rectangle BGFE. if the perimeter of the rectangle is at least twice the perimeter of the square what is the maximum length of the side of a square ABCD

perimeter of square= 4x

perimeter of rectangle=2*(8+x+10+x)

on comparing we get

2(4x)=2*(8+x+10+x)

on calculating we get

x=8
