Hey Neri12..!!

Here's Your Answer..!!

✨What is the Young's Modulus?

Young's Modulus is the measure of the ability of a material to withstand changes in length when under tension or compression.

It can be simply defined as the ratio of tensile strength to tensile strain.

It describes the tensile elasticity or the tendency of am object to deform along an axis when opposing forces are applied along that axis.

✨What's the difference between the Rigidity and the Bulk modulus?

The bulk modulus can simply be defined as an extension of Young's modulus to three dimensions.

The ratio of shear stress and shear strain is called shear modulus.

Young's Modulus(Y) is one of the three modulii of elasticity the others being Modulus of Rigidity(n) and Bulk Modulus(B).

Youngs modulus is applicable for 1 dimensional stress and strain it is the ratio of longitudinal stress to longitudinal strain. similarly n is for 2D and is ratio of shearing stress to shearing strain and B is for 3D or underwater bodies and is the ratio of Volumetric stress to Volumetric strain.
