The acceleration due to gravity at a place on the surface of earth is 9.8 m/s^2. Find the mass of the earth. ( R=6400 km)

g=9.8m/s^2

r=6400km

G= 6.672×10^(-11) {constant}

now, by formula we have,:

g=G×M/R^2

9.8=6.672×10^(-11)×M/(6400)^2

(9.8×6400×6400)/6.672×10^-11=M

M= 0.000601

= 6.01× 10^(-4)
