The Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. In 2007, the landfall of Cyclone Sidr damaged around 40% of the Sundarbans.
Flora :- Sundari tree, Golpata, etc.
Fauna :- Bengal tiger, Chital deer, etc.
