Afforestation means the planting of trees. In our modern world, our earth suffers from loss of trees. This affects the people living in it. Trees help us in so many ways and we are continuously chopping tress just for our own benefits. Trees helps to stop pollution, it acts as a barrier for wind, rain etc, it cools the environment and most importantly it provides us with oxygen gas. So we are actually destroying the thing which supports our life. Therefore we should all from now make it an effort to plant atleast some trees in a year. We can plant on our birthdays or any other special occasion.
