in my point of view u should study sst it is an interesting subject but it also depend on u if u dont like the sst subject then no one can force u to study if u want to study then no one in the world can take off from studying sst
i will suggest u to study if u are in secondary school
as it will allow u to push ur grade and if ur are in 12th pas and u have chosen u other subject then sst then i will suggest u to not to study sst only focus on ur subject u have chosen
