as they said AB = AC and AD = AE 

3y = 7x 

9x = 13 +2y .................(2)

from we come to know that y = 7x /3........(1)

now lets substitute (1) in (2)

9x = 13 + 2 ( \frac{7x}{3} )

9x = 13 + 14x/3

9x =  \frac{39 + 14x }{3}

27x = 39 + 14x

13x = 39

x = 3 ..............(3) 

now substitute this in (1)

y = 7x /3

y= 7 (3) / 3

y = 7
