an important phase of your life....you can describe a  phase in your life like a trip with your friends maybe an excursion or something for which you had to prepare things in advance and you met some new people, who introduced to you a life with developed values and new aspirations. you can describe about the various things you observed like their manners, their way of manipulating things in their favor and how you got inspired from them, how they exposed you to something so brilliant, so lustrous and encouraged you to stop shielding your eyes, to remove your hand from your eyes and analyse the things happening around you, to undress the foes in the disguise of friends. and when that trip finally came, you can describe bout your experience to lengthen your story. Basically, in this story, you are writing that as soon as you changed your company the people you surround yourself with, you changed the way you felt, thought. you changed the way you looked at your surroundings and how they broadened your horizons of thinking and that is why this was an important phase of your life. so, in a nut shell, you describe your important phase of your life all the while explaining why it is an important phase of your life.
