oviduct - a pair of ovary is situated either side of the abdomen.

supplied-through a special organ "placenta" which acts as respiratory, excretory and nutriative organ for the foetus and supply food, oxygen etc from the mother blood to the foetus.

  1. Ovary :  The ovary is the component of the female reproductive system, through which the female zygote, the egg is sent. the eggs are produced in the ovaries at birth.
  2. Oviduct : The Oviduct or the fallopian tube is the tube through which the egg travels to the ureter . This also the place where the egg gets fertilised.
  3. Uterus : This is the place where the egg develops after fertilization. The egg is supplied with a constant amount of nutritious blood through a tissue called Placenta

                                                                                                                                         

The fetus is supplied with nutrition for its survival through the blood which is passed through a thick tissue called the Placenta.
