need this for my homework, URGENTLY!!!
Find the value of 2a^2 + 5b^2 when a =-6 and b =2

2a {}^{2} + 5b{}^{2}

Substituting the values of a and b, we get :-

 = 2( - 6) {}^{2} + 5(2) {}^{2}

 = 2 \times 36 + 5 \times 4

 = 72 + 20

=92 \: \: ans

HERE IS THE SOLUTION:-)
=>2a^2 + 5b^2

=>value of a = -6 and b = 2

PUT THE VALUE OF a AND b in the polynomial

=>2 x (-6)^2 + 5 x (2)^2

=>2 x 36 + 5 x 4

=>72 + 20

=>92
