★ Its really difficult to judge him as putting irrelevant information is not violating the terms but if this is his first time that he is doing such a work then he should not be the one who is violating media ethics but if it is his third time or more than third time than he should be punished and then it will be considered as an obvious violater of media ethics .

No this is not a responsible and ethical behaviour and he is violating media ethics

Explanation:

  • Journalists cannot necessarily ensure the 'truth,' but the cardinal standard of media is to get the "right facts". They must aim for truth, include all the necessary information to ensure they are verified. Where they cannot corroborate information they must say so.
  • The majority of stories have two viewpoints at least. Although no requirement exists to address both sides of each story, stories should be represented and contextualized. Objectivity is always, and may not be, ideal (for example, in the face of violence or inhumanity), but objective coverage produces credibility and confidence
  • In gathering and disseminating information, media is required to follow such ethics: maintaining the accuracy of reporting, use a specific and socially appropriate language to guarantee objectivity and justice and to keep its cascading impacts on society and the individuals in mind, as well as the appropriate institutions.
