Breadth of the house = 40 feet

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

= 2(100 + 40)

= 2×140

= 280 feet

After each tree she needs to leave 4 feet

ie, for 1 tree she needs 4 feet

For x trees she needs 280/4 feet

ie, x = 280/4 = 70

No.of trees she can plant = 70
