Neeta says that the solution A which conducts electricit , is corrosive and soluble in water is an acid not a base. Her friend Meeta disagrees with her. Why would she disagree? Can you help her find whether the solution is an acid or base.

Bcoz even bases are corrosive, soluble in water and conducts electricity .

Now the only way to find out whether it is a base or acid is by dipping a blue and red litmus paper

If the solution turn red litmus to blue then tbe solution is base . If the red litmus doesnt show any change it is an acid . Similarly , if the solution turn blue litmus to red it is an acid but if the blue litmus paper doesn't show any change it is a base .
