a. To detect the photosynthesis process, she first needs to remove the chlorophyll from the leaf with the help of Spirit. After removing the chlorophyll, she should put 2-3 drops of Liquid Iodine solution on the leaf. The leaf would turn Blue-Black which shows the presence of starch in it... Hence she can detect the process.
b. She should use Liquid iodine solution to detect the process.
c. The leaf will turn to Blue-Black colour as it has starch in it.
d. Chlorophyll should be removed from the leaf so that it doesn't interfere in the experiment. As you would know, Leaf gets its green colour from chlorophyll so that green colour needs to be removed. Only then we'll be able to see the colour change in it.
