Hi friend!!!

While adding a positive and a positive number, you add it normally.

E.g: 5+5 = 10

While adding a negative and a negative number, you add the numbers as it is and insert the negative value.

E.g: -5 + (-5) = -5-5 = -10

While adding a positive and a negative number, you subtract the negative number from the positive number and insert the sign of the largest number.

E.g: 7 + (-4) = 3

      -7 + 4 = -3
