Negative deviation from Raoult’s law is observed in the binary liquid mixture of Acetone and chloroform

- this is due to the fact that chloroform molecule forms hydrogen bonds with acetone molecule

- this decreases the escaping tendency of of molecules

- due to this vapour pressure decreases which results in the negative deviation from Raoult's law

- so option (c) is correct
