Negative effects of abolition of article 370:  

• With the abolition of article 370, the native residents of Jammu and Kashmir lost all the special privileges.  The special reservations and rights exclusively meant for the J&K residents have been disregarded.
• The age-old discrimination of buying immovable property, settling in the state, reservation for jobs and other tax benefits which were reserved for the residents have been done away with.  
• The exclusive legislative powers enjoyed by J&k have been canceled out and now the center shall exercise all the powers alike the other parts of the country.

However, this must be a celebratory decision that outs a bar to the disparity that had been doing rounds for a very long time now.
