Negative reviews in Oliver Twist novel

According to me it's an interesting novel with a nice plot.but at some instances in some parts of the novel I felt the plot going off track in the middle of the novel the story became a bit boring.Moreover how the misuse and exploration of children had been portrayed ,I didn't like that. .......
