• Neha deposited $8000

• Time = 3 years

• Amount = $9440

Now :-

 SI = \dfrac{ PRT}{100}

Amount = P + SI

Therefore

SI = A - P

= $9440 - $8000

= $1440

 1440 = \dfrac{ 8000 \times R \times 3}{100}

 1440 = 80 \times R \times 3

 R = \dfrac{144}{24}

 R = 6

Rate = 6%

Amount(A)=9440

simple Intrest for 3yrs=A-P=9440-8000=1440

intrest for 1 year = 1440/3=480

rate of intrest = (480/8000)*100%=6%per annum
