Let the present age of Shivangi be X years.

Present age of Neha = ( X +3) years

Before 6 years age of Shivangi = ( X -6) years

Before 6 years age of Neha = ( X +3 -6) = ( X -3) years.

According to question,

Age of Neha before 6 years = 4 ( Age of Shivangi before 6 years)

X -3 = 4 ( X -6)

X -3 = 4X - 24

4X- X = 24 -3

3X = 21

X = 21/3


X = 7 years

Age of Shivangi = X = 7 years

And,

Age of Neha = X +3 = 7+3 = 10 years
