Answer:

36000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let amonut lended to P is a

Then amount lended to Q is (60000-a).

S.I. of P for 2 years = a x 12 x 2 / 100. [prt/100]

So it will be 24a/100.

Now, S.I. of Q for 2 years = (60000-a) x 6 x 2 /100.

So it will be 720000 - 12a / 100.

Adding both S.I. will give 11,520.

So,

24a + 720000 - 12a = 1152000

12a = 432000

a = 36000.

Therefore, amount lended to P is 36000.
