Neha prepared a blue coloured solution of copper sulphate in a beaker and placed an iron nail in it.

(i)Describe in words the changes that will be observed in the beaker after about an

I) Displacement reaction will take place in the above reaction. This is because iron ( high reactive element) will displace copper ( low reactive element) and make a compound iron sulphate.

2) CuSo4+ Fe---------- FeSo4 + Cu

3) Sodium ( Na) is more reactive.
