Neha is reading a book.

Present continuous tense is the easiest test to learn. The general form for sentences in present continuous tense is :

Subject + is/am/are + (verb + ing) + object.

You add an is before the verb for singular subject, am for "I", and "are" for plural subject. Then you just add ing suffix at the end of the verb and voila! It's present continuous tense.
