Neha travels 4 m towards North, 3 m towards East and then 7 m towards South. Find her displacement, from the figure using Pythagoras theorem

Well, distance is length covered by an object. So 4+3+8 = 15th is distance covered. Displacement, on the other hand, is the shortest distance between any two points. So it is 5m. Therefore we can conclude dat displacement is always smaller dan or equal to distance. Hope u got ur answer ;)
