  1. When we burn a pure silk then we get a smell like burning of Hair and when a artificial silk thread is burnt then we get smell of burning of Paper. Like this we can distinguish between both.
  2. Pure Silk is more costlier than artificial one since silk comes from silkworm which takes time and the handling of Silkworms is so hard.
