The weight of pulses left in the bag is 23.15kg.
Given:-
Weight of bag of pulses = 25kg
Weight of pulses fell on floor = 1850g
To Find:-
The weight of pulses left in the bag.
Solution:-
We can easily find out the weight of pulses left in the bag by using these simple steps.
As
Weight of bag of pulses (w) = 25kg
Weight of pulses fell on the floor (w1) = 1850g
Weight of pulses left in the bag (x) =?
Here, both the weights are in different units so we should first convert the weight of bag of pulses from kg to g by multiplying by 1000.
i.e.
Weight of bag of pulses = 25 × 1000 = 25000g
Now,
Weight of bag of pulses = Weight of pulses fell on floor + Weight of pulses left in the bag
Weight of pulses left in the bag = Weight of bag of pulses - Weight of pulses fell on the floor
or
Hence, The weight of pulses left in the bag is 23.15kg.
