Nelson Mandela, the first president of independent South Africa says that every man on this world has twin obligations. First, obligations to his friends and family and the second that he has an obligation to his people, his community, his country. According to him, in a normal society, it is possible for each man to fulfil these obligations, but in pre independence South Africa, which is full of racism, it is impossible for a black or coloured to fulfill these obligations.
