Current Anganwadi workers and instructors will undergo systematic training by the curricula and pedagogical framework created by NCERT to create an initial cadre of excellent ECCE teachers in Anga wadis.
- NCERT will create a sub-framework for children ages 0 to 3 and a sub-framework for children ages 3 to 8 as part of a national curriculum and pedagogical framework for early childhood care and education (NCPFECCE).
- The main objective will be to gradually establish nationwide access to high-quality ECCE for all children.
- Districts and locations that are particularly socioeconomically deprived will receive extra consideration and importance.
- A greatly enlarged and enhanced network of early childhood education institutions made up of independent, non-profit organizations will provide ECCE.
- Pre-primary schools/sections covering children at least 5 to 6 years old that are co-located with already-existing primary schools, Anga wadis, and stand-alone pre-schools.
- All of the aforementioned would hire personnel who had received specialized training in the ECCE curriculum and methodology.
- Anganwadi Centers will be enhanced with top-notch infrastructure, playthings, and qualified Anganwadi workers/teachers to ensure that everyone has access to ECCE. Each Anganwadi shall have a building that is well-ventilated, well-designed, kid-friendly, and well-constructed, with a stimulating learning environment.
- Children in Anganwadi Centers will go on trips with lots of activities.
- Anganwadi children, parents, and teachers will be asked to attend and participate in school/school complex programs, and vice versa. Anganwadi shall be fully integrated into school complexes/clusters.
