Nepali sculptures are valued mainly from their religious perspectives.

The collection of Nepali sculptures of the Metropolitan Museum mainly consists of many arts servicing the religion in which neither Buddhist nor Hindu style is discernible but shows similar aspirations making it less distinguishable than any of the theory.

They are made up of terracotta, wood, metal and stone.

Question:-nepali sculptures are valued mainly from their religious perspectives

Answer:-The Nepalese sculptures in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art were created primarily by the Newars, one of Nepal’s many ethnic groups, in the Kathmandu valley, an area encompassing about 200 square miles in central Nepal. Predominantly Buddhist, Newari artists became renowned throughout Asia for the high quality of their work.
