Neptune has a shorter day than Earth. So why is Neptune's year so much longer than ours?

[ Hint: Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun, and Earth is only the third.]

ANSWER-

Neptune's year is longer than that of earth. This is because it is the farthest planet from earth. Hence, it's orbit is larger than that of earth's. Hence, it takes longer time to complete a revolution. One revolution is the completion of one year. Thus, Neptune's year is longer than that of a earth's year.

Additional Information

One day in Neptune is - 16h 6m

Distance from sun - 4.495 billion km

Mass - 1.024×10^26 kg

As the Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the Sun, Neptune has an extremely wide orbit and a comparatively slow orbital velocity. As a result, a year on Neptune is very long, lasting the equivalent of almost 165 Earth years.

I think this is the logic behind the longer year on Neptune than earth.
