Answer:The centenarian cooked over a wood fire while squatting on a mat in a rice field, peeling vegetables with her fingernails and chopping them with a traditional knife.

Mastanamma, from India's Andra Pradesh state, said in 2017 that she was unsure of her exact age, but thought she was 106.

Her death was reported on Tuesday by website The News Minute.

Among her most famous dishes were an eggplant curry, egg dosa pancakes, bamboo chicken byriani and spicy catla fish curry.

She lived in the remote village of Gudivada on the banks of the river Guntur with four generations of her family.

Her cooking talents became world-famous after Mr Reddy suggested making a video of her to Mr Laxman.

'After a few months, we went to Laxman's village, and visited his grandmother,' Mr Reddy told HuffPost India. 'She cooks so well and has a very different, traditional style of cooking. That's when we decided to shoot her. The response was great — everyone liked her style.'

'She was so active, and led such a busy lifestyle,' Mr Reddy added. 'She loved to be independent, and lived alone, while her son stayed in a house adjacent to hers. We loved her attitude, and decided to shoot videos with her.'

The pair had already launched a YouTube channel on cooking for bachelors, but it took off with a video of Mastanamma making a prawn recipe.

Explanation:

Laxman is one of the few players to have played 100 Test matches, without ever appearing in a One-Day Cricket World Cup. Despite being a relatively slow runner between wickets, Laxman compensated this with his masterful stroke play and fast scoring. Even after playing many great innings, consistently, and in spite of him being revered all over the world as a great batsman, he had to fight a unique, career-long battle to prove himself over and over again to find a place in the national team. In 2002, he was named one of Wisden's five Cricketers of the Year.

In domestic cricket, Laxman represented Hyderabad. He also played for Lancashire in the English county cricket. He was also the captain of the Deccan Chargers team in the Indian Premier League during its inaugural season.[2] Later, he played for the Kochi Tuskers IPL team. He is currently a mentor of the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In 2011, Laxman was awarded the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award.[3]. In 2012, Laxman retired from international cricket.[4]
