हमें नेताजी के चश्मा पथ अध्याय के 10 सरल, संयुक्त रूप से लिखने और उनका अनुवाद करने की आवश्यकता है।

1. हालदार साहब को हर पन्द्रहवें दिन कम्पनी के काम से एक छोटे कस्बे से गुजरना पड़ता था। - Haldar Saheb had to pass through a small town every fifteenth day for company work.
2. उस कस्बे में एक लड़कों का स्कूल, एक लड़कियों का स्कूल, एक सीमेंट का कारखाना, दो ओपन सिनेमा घर तथा एक नगरपालिका थी।- The town had a boys' school, a girls' school, a cement factory, two open cinema halls and a municipality.
3. नगरपालिका थी तो कुछ ना कुछ करती रहती थी, कभी सड़के पक्की करवाने का काम तो कभी शौचालय तो कभी कवि सम्मेलन करवा दिया। -There was a municipality, who used to do work like getting roads paved or   toilets made or repaired and sometimes poet conferences were held.
4. एक बार नगरपालिका के एक उत्साही अधिकारी ने मुख्य बाज़ार के चैराहे पर सुभाषचन्द्र बोस की संगमरमर की प्रतिमा लगवा दी। - Once a municipal official had got a marble statue of Subhash Chandra Bose installed at the square of the main market. ,
5. चूँकि बजट ज्यादा नही था इसलिए मूर्ति बनाने का काम कस्बे के इकलौते हाई स्कूल के शिक्षक को सौंपा गया। - Since the budget was not much, the task of making the idol was entrusted to the only high school teacher in the town.
6. मूर्ति सुन्दर बनी थी बस एक चीज़ की कमी थी, नेताजी की आँख पर चश्मा नहीं था। -The idol beautifully made. There was only one thing that was missing. Netaji did not have glasses on his eyes.
7. एक सचमुच के चश्मे का चौड़ा काला फ्रेम मूर्ति को पहना दिया गया। - A real wide black frame of glasses was put on the idol.
8. हालदार साहब को समझते देर न लगी की बिना चश्मे वाली मूर्ति कैप्टन को ख़राब लगती होगी इसलिए अपने उपलब्ध फ्रेम में से एक को वह नेताजी के मूर्ति पर फिट कर देता होगा। -  Haldar Saheb quickly understood  that the captain would have found the statue without glasses bad, so he would have fitted one of his available frames on the statue of Netaji.
9. जब कोई ग्राहक वैसे ही फ्रेम की मांग करता जैसा मूर्ति पर लगा है तो वह उसे मूर्ति से उतारकर ग्राहक को दे देता और मूर्ति पर नया फ्रेम लगा देता चूँकि मूर्ति बनाने वाला मास्टर चश्मा भूल गया।- When a customer asked for the same frame as what was put on the idol, he would take it off the idol and give it to the customer and then put another new frame on the idol because the master who made the idol forgot the glasses.
10. हालदार साहब को एक देशभक्त का मजाक बनते देखना अच्छा नही लगा।- It was not nice to see that Haldar Saheb was making fun of a patriot.
