Neutrons doesn't have any charge so why neutrons are in atoms?

A normal hydrogen (H) atom does not have any neutrons in its tiny nucleus. That tiny little atom (the tiniest of all) has only one electron and one proton. You can take away the electron and make an ion, but you can't take away any neutrons. ... Deuterium is a hydrogen atom with an extra neutron and tritium has two extra.

These guys are really helpful at that place....

Without the neutrons in the nucleus (of atom) there would be only one possible proton in the centre as Positive & Positive charges repel each other....

These guys release Nuclear Energy due to which the protons are held together in the centre otherwise the protons would not be in the centre in this much quantity... And ofcourse Neutrons have no charge...

HOPE IT HELPS YOU...
