The given passage is taken from the story "Bholi" by Khawaja Ahmed Abbas.

Explanation:

The original name of Bholi was Sulekha. She was the neglected youngest daughter of the family. Due to a head injury, she was a late learner. She used to stammer while talking and had pock marks on her face.  Even her own parents used to ignore her.

1. On that particular day, Bholi got an oil message. a bath and a clean dress because it was her first day at school and her father wanted to pretend in front of everyone that they took a nice care of Bholi.
2. The clean dress that she wore that day belonged to her sister, Champa. After many washing, the dress has shrunk and it no longer fitted Champa. So it was given to Bholi.
