Question : The general form of Quadratic Equation is :

(A) ax^2 - bx + c = 0

(B) ax^2 + bx + c = 0

(C) ax^2 - bx - c = 0

(D) ax^2 + bx - c = 0

Answer : The correct answer is Option (B) ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

A Quadratic Equation is the equation which can be rearranged in the general form of ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

A Quadratic Equation has two roots which can be find by the help of formula :

x =  \frac{ - b \binom{ + }{ - }  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}

where 'a' and 'b' are the coefficient of x^2 and x respectively and 'c' represents the constant value.

We can find the sum of roots as (-b/a) and product of roots as (c/a)
