Dental Check-up Camp Held In School St Jude's School, Majra collaborated with a team of senior dentists led by Dr Shubham and Dr Aparna to organise a free dental check-up and awareness camp in the school premises. The team of dentists along with para-medical staff carried out a comprehensive dental check-up on students from Class I to XII.The camp included dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases - and the measures used to prevent them. The students were made aware about the eating patterns and food choices which can lead to tooth decay.
The young students cherished the chance to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge about their oral health and maintaining good oral hygiene.
The school staff and children thanked the dentists and para-medical staff for rendering their selfless service to the school.

Hundreds of people participated in the Dental Awareness camp, organized by the General English High School on March 25, 2016 at Dadar, Mumbai in the Gandhi Park, a few minutes away from the School. The Camp was conceived as a means to disseminate knowledge about common oral diseases and the importance of oral health care.
This is the first time we organized such an event outside our health care campus,” stated Dr. Abdul Hasan., HoD, Dept of Public Health Dentistry, who was the event coordinator. Students and faculty helped with the organizing of the camp.
Beginning at 2:00 pm, the camp was inaugurated by noted cine artist, Mr. Rajinikanth, who was joined by Dr. K. N. Nehru, Principal of the Our School and Ms. Ramya, Administrator of the School. “Many people from poorer sections of society are unable to receive the required dental care in our society,” stated Mr. Rajinikanth.
“I am happy to note that “The General English High School is organizing this camp, where so many people can avail of free check ups as well as learn more.” Mr. Rajinikanth also expressed his profound appreciation for the models and oral education material displayed at the camp. “I myself was not aware about the gravity of the some of the oral diseases; I know more now,” he shared later.
