Generally they depend on the climate, nature as well as the relationship between the other species in the forest

So it could also be a good reason for the asked question

Thank you

Species where the group of distinct similarity and interbreed to produce a fertile offspring in nature.

As per the question,

New spices X is introduced in a forest how is it likely to affect the local spices of the area.

As like human beings , if two different people meet in a place they would like interact each other.

Interspecific interaction is termed as the interaction between the  two different  species members.

This interaction could be beneficial , harmful or neutral.

If beneficial means positive.

If harmful means negative.

Lets talk about positive interactions..

It is the type of interaction in which both the types  species are benefited.

They can be :

(1) Commensalism  : If one of the species gets the benefit while other is neutral neither harmed nor benefitted.

(2) Symbiosis  : If both the types of species will  get the benefit.

(3) Protocooperation : If both the species cooperate for their benefit.

Lets talk about negative interactions..

It is the type of interaction in which one of the specie  both the species are harmful to each and have their adverse effect.

They can be :

(1) Predators : Means let we have two species A (predator) and B (prey) , here A(stronger) is harmful to B(weaker).

Species A : + (beneficial)

Species B : - (Harmful)

(2) Parasitism : Means let we have two species A (parasite) and B (host) , here A(weaker) is harmful to B(stronger).

Species A : + (beneficial)

Species B : - (Harmful)

(3) Competition : Here one species will affect the growth of other and both will than compete for the same source food or shelter

Species A : - (Harmful)

Species B : - (Harmful)
