Newton's first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. ... The thirdlaw states that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Newton's first law states that Every object if it is in a rest, then it will keep in rest or in an uniform motion until and unless an external force come into contact if it.

It is called “LAW OF INERTIA”

Simply, If you put a ball on a flat surface, it will keep there motionless. However, once you press a finger on one side, it will start rolling down in a constant velocity.

Similarly, a ball keep goes in a straight line until a finger or an object strike on it.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
