MUMBAI, June 30 : Heavy rains in the city threw normal life out of gear today with the rail services hit due to flooding of tracks in various low-lying areas.

⠀⠀⠀⠀ The central line of the suburban rail network was stopped early on Saturday morning due to flooding at many points on the line, a spokesperson for the railways said. Many outstation trains were also been delayed and some have been cancelled due to the rains, he said. Western Railway authorities said that there was a delay of about 25-30 minutes in schedules as a result of the rains but train services were operational
