Visakhapatnam 24 August. A boat carrying 15 people capsized close to the Visakhapatnam
coast. The weather had been normal but there was a sudden change. Strong winds
started blowing. The boatmen were not ready for the sudden approach of the
storm. Though they made all efforts to get back to the land, it was not
possible for it to return. There were 4 women and 4 children in the boat. The
men tried to save all of them but 1 child suffered badly. The rescue team
reached the spot in time but the child had swallowed too much water. He was
rushed to the hospital. The government has promised to give them money for
their loss and to bear all the expenses for the treatment of the child.
